This is really strong stuff. Indeed, beyond the obvious hypocrisy it disdains on the surface,  it confronts truths both relatively recent (last century) and quite old (ancient times) that those who believe because they believe (I believe this is what they call  faith) are unwilling to open their eyes and acknowledge under any circumstances. I’d like to think that, should there actually be a God, despite all the evidence to the contrary, who cares a whit about what happens to any of us, despite even more clear evidence to the contrary, He might approve.

Then again, He might just laugh heartily at the greatest practical joke of all.

I could actually respect that.
