Actually, that “log cabin” is a very big, very expensive rental property location at Tamarac, a big four-season resort project which went belly up and is kept semi-alive by the small group of homeowners who spent hundreds of thousands for homes there and are hanging on in the hopes than an investor will take it and its debt over and get things back online. Fascinating to drive though and see all the half-completed buildings. Make a great movie set for a disaster flick (a survivalist theme would work). They have a working ski area and golf course and we went to a concert there several hours after the picture was taken in the bar and deck area of what would have been the clubhouse. If anybody back there ever gets on the ball and sends me photos and video, I’ll do a post about.
My daughter-in-law’s brother owns the house where the photo was taken but lives in Michigan.
Good looking family there.
Wait a minute, log house, Idaho, ball cap with pocket-tee, vicious attack dog – are these survivalist militias?!??
